MobileGamesDb.com is a portal about mobile games and their standards, launches, information, and connections companies from Media, Providers, and Developers. The database should hold information such as screenshots, ratings from external media, links to providers, links to reviews, and a database of awards.
The most important part of the portal is the new standard – the mgXML format. mgXML is a XML file for transferring information about mobile games, about mobile game sales channel, and about mobile game promotion materials for providers, developers, and mobile operators.
This format opens new possibilities in connecting up mobile companies, sharing information, and using it in standard cases, such as developers sending distribution packages to distribution partners.
